We will retain your information for as long as you wish to receive e-mails or as needed to provide you service. We will clearly ask whenever personal information that could identify you or allow ASO to contact you is required.

It is your choice whether or not you provide your personal information to ASO; Personal Information is required for to provide your email as part of membership subscription (via Mailchimp). Under limited circumstances in the event ASO believes that the Website is being used to commit unlawful acts, and/or if disclosure of your personal info is required to comply with applicable laws or regulations, or with a court or administrative order ASO reserves the right to disclose your personal Info.

Non-personally identifying information ("Use Info") comprises information that does not identify individual users. For example: information about which Website pages are visited on an aggregate level, browser type, operating system type, or IP address. Your Use Info may be disclosed internally within ASO and to Squarespace Analytics to help ASO analyze our user base to improve the service; for example, ASO may disclose Use Info in order to better understand which parts of the Website users are visiting, to improve the content of the Website, and for marketing, advertising, or research purposes.

Processing your information

We do not attempt to collect personal information from casual visitors to our website.

Beyond this, ASO is a collaborative initiative that aims to share information and ideas among registered users. We also receive correspondence related to the activities of ASO which typically includes personal information such as name and email address. In addition, Squarespace Analytics is our reporting platform that gives us insight into how our site is performing with regards to page views, location of visitors, and time on site.
