The Alexander Studies Online (ASO) community includes people involved in research on the Alexander Technique across a wide range of relevant disciplines. This includes Alexander Technique teachers, trainees, and students; researchers and academics; and anyone interested in learning more about or contributing to, Alexander Technique research. What We Do

We develop projects that encourage the exchange of ideas, resources, knowledge, and experience to enable greater understanding of the Alexander Technique. In addition to our research collections and community voice we currently support the following initiatives:

Blog and Mailing List - Members will receive blog updates on Alexander Technique-related research that include the ASO newsletter releases and occasional information on research-related projects and resources.

Resources and Online Meeting - Those who become Alexander Studies Online members will have access to any new resources shared by our community. They will also receive links to view new videos on research initiatives and invitations to attend live online events as members of our community present and discuss developments and research in our field.


Become an ASO Member

The value of Alexander Studies Online (ASO) comes from the knowledge and experience of its community: a group committed to enabling and communicating research on the Alexander Technique.

Becoming an ASO member is free and has no commitment. We only ask you please read and agree to the following standard of collaborative communication: Our aim is to create a safe and constructive environment to enable an international community to operate with openness and honesty. We welcome discussion and debate as essential to moving ideas forward. We also understand that members of our community are passionate about the Alexander Technique, and may feel strongly about their views and perspectives. We ask all those who wish to join and contribute to the ASO community to be respectful, supportive, and polite in all their communication.
